We’re proud to announce that Million Games has been shortlisted for two major categories at the 2026 International Gaming Awards (IGA):
With over 1,000 entries received this year, reaching the finals in both categories is a significant milestone. It reflects the strong creative direction of Million Games and the work our team has put into building innovative, fun-centred titles for the global iGaming market.
Our nomination for Best Crash Game Developer of the Year is anchored by two standout releases: Chicken X and Temple X. Chicken X brought humour, chaos, and character to the crash genre, merging arcade-style reflexes with real-money excitement. It redefined the crash category with a character-driven humour and arcade-inspired timing. Temple X expanded our crash portfolio through an adventurous theme and a redefined risk-reward experience. Together, both games demonstrate how crash mechanics can evolve through bold ideas, strong characters, and story-driven gameplay.
Our second nomination, Game Studio of the Year, recognises the wider creative scope of Million Games. From slots and table games to multiplayer concepts and instant-win experiences, our focus on innovation and quality continues to shape our growing portfolio.
Beyond the games, these shortlistings celebrates Million Games as a studio; bold in design, fun at heart, and committed to creating inclusive, high-quality entertainment for players everywhere.
The winners will be announced at the Intercontinental Hotel in Barcelona on 18 January 2026.
“We are genuinely honoured to be recognised in both categories,” says Thomas Nimstad, CEO of Million Games. “Chicken X and Temple X show how far crash gaming can go when you combine strong themes with engaging mechanics. Being shortlisted alongside so many talented studios is something we value highly.”
We look forward to celebrating with our peers in Barcelona and honouring the creativity that continues to move the iGaming industry forward.
