We’re thrilled to share some big news — Million Games is now officially licensed by the Swedish Gaming Authority (Spelinspektionen).
For us, this isn’t just another milestone. It’s a statement of intent. As a proudly Swedish game studio, achieving our home market licence represents everything we’ve been working towards — quality, responsibility and the freedom to bring our games to more players in regulated markets.
With the Swedish licence in place, we can now move ahead with certifying individual game titles for launch and start building relationships with licensed operators across Sweden. It’s a step that strengthens our mission to create bold, entertaining, and compliant games for a safer iGaming future.
This approval also reinforces our broader strategy: expanding Million Games into regulated markets that prioritise player protection and long-term sustainability.
The timing couldn’t be better. We’ll be showcasing our latest releases and partner projects at ICE Barcelona 2026, the world’s biggest gaming showcase — and you’ll find us at Stand 2C72.
Having our Swedish licence approved ahead of the show is the perfect launchpad. It gives us the chance to meet operators, aggregators, and collaborators who share our passion for innovation and responsible gaming.
“This licence is more than a box ticked — it’s a commitment to building a future where creativity and compliance go hand in hand,” says Thomas Nimstad, CEO of Million Games.
Now begins the exciting part. We’re working to certify our growing portfolio of video slots, table games, multiplayer titles, and instant-win experiences for the Swedish market. Each one is designed for regulated success — built on our proprietary RGS and developed to meet the highest technical standards.
Sweden may be where this story starts, but it’s far from where it ends.
